Julian is an amazing trainer. I had a German Shepherd mix and over the 10 and half years we took all the classes offered multiple times because he adored training. Julian came up with new ways to keep him engaged and we would meet up with the class elsewhere so there was a new stimulus for the dogs over and over. Over the lifetime of training, I ended up with a well-behaved dog who was getting the mental stimulation he needed to be a happy family dog. Because of the training classes, he was easy for vets, groomers, and others to handle and wasn't fazed by much because he could be a confident laid back dog because he experienced training classes during the busiest times so learned how to be calm in loud or busy situations. When my dog was getting older and had physical limitations Julian was able to adapt the classes and games so he could still participate and enjoy himself without causing more pain. 

With my next dog, I had moved out of the GTA but I choose to drive every weekend to see Julian with my next dog because it is worth it to have such a well-balanced dog and he can give advice for situations from an outside perspective that really helped us during when we struggled with dog misbehaviour. I have even used his techniques to train my cat.

Training with Julian is a real community experience with lots of opportunities to socialize with your classmates and I have made several lifelong friends that I met through doing classes with Julian. I can't imagine having a dog without Julian training us. I am a better owner and dog person.

Julian has been our dogs' trainer for our last two dogs. Not only did we learn, but our dogs learned and loved him. They would run to him whenever we came in for training. We're still using his techniques many years after training. Our current dog still retains all the knowledge and is extremely well-trained, as are the owners. We've had many comments on how great our dog listens to commands. We have recommended Julian many times to our friends and they have been very pleased. Your dog as well as yourself won't be disappointed. His training was worth the time and effort. Best money we ever spent.

Julian I first met Julian when my (now senior) dog was a puppy, and we were in his class. Classes were always informative, and extremely fun, and we always enjoyed our time spent there. Julian always answered any questions, and made sure we had the tools we needed to continue our training on our own throughout the week, until the next class. 



At the time, I was training my dog to get his "CGN" (Canine Good Neighbour) certificate, and then become a certified therapy dog, and Julian was essential in helping me "work out the kinks" so that my dog passed both with flying colours; my dog became a child-certified therapy dog, and visited paediatrics wards, mental health wards, and schools (until I retired my dog due to his age).

We even took an occasional class that wasn't "needed", as we enjoyed it so much, and had so much fun! As we didn't need obedience training at that point, Julian made sure that my dog learned some pretty cool "tricks", just for fun, and also to amuse the patients at the hospital when we visited!

We also met some amazing dogs and their owners, and still continue friendships to this day. 

When the time comes and I have another dog in my life that needs training, I look forward to taking Julian's classes again, and seeing my dog become the best dog s/he can be.
